TAI CHI STICK WORKSHOP
with Master Teacher Dr. David Chandler PLUS, dinner with Australian Songman, Bob Randall Drumming and Dancing to follow |
This workshop is for all levels. No previous experience is necessary. For those of you who have never played with Tai Chi Sticks, this is an especially fun workshop.
Our special guest, Australian Aboriginal Elder Bob Randall, will sing and share stories during dinner.
When: Sunday, Aug 1, 2010 Workshop 3:30-6:30pm Dinner and Bob Randall 6:30-7:30 followed by drumming Where: The Dragon’s Egg 401 Shewville Rd Ledyard, CT (directions below) Cost: $ 60 for stick workshop, dinner and drumming $45 stick workshop only $!5 dinner and drumming only $5 drumming only Register: via e-mail deborahpiacenza@sbcglobal.net or in class. Walk-ins welcome if space permits. No walk-ins for dinner. If you have your own sticks, you are welcome to bring them along. There will be sticks available for use during the workshop and also for purchase. Wear lightweight comfortable clothing and footwear. Water bottles are suggested. *** DIRECTIONS: Dragon’s Egg 401 Shewville Rd. Ledyard, CT (see mysticpaperbeasts.org) From the South: I95 North to exit 89 (Allyn St.) Left at the end of the ramp to 3rd light. Right onto Gold Star Hwy (Rte 184) Approx 1 mile turn LEFT onto Shewville Rd. Dragon’s Egg is 1.4 miles on the left. Turn into the 2nd driveway that says POTTER 401. Park in the field. From the North: I95 South to exit 90 RIGHT onto Rte. 27. Bear LEFT at the fork at the Mystic General Store, then immediate RIGHT onto Shewville Rd. Follow up the hill to the intersection with Rte.184. Go through the intersection and Dragon’s Egg is 1.4 miles on the left *** |
